It’s National Cancer Survivors Day®!

At GMC we applaud and recognize cancer survivors, we support cancer patients, and we work to educate the community about cancer prevention, detection, treatment and life as a survivor.

From genetic testing, screening and early detection, to diagnosis, treatment and support, Gwinnett Medical Center’s Cancer Institute is with you every step of the journey.

In the past few years GMC has expanded cancer care in the region through our cancer navigators, formation of the Center for Cancer Care for treatment, and founding of the Cancer Support Center to provide a wide range of support services and patient resources.

Watch this short video as Karen, one of our cancer survivors, tells the story of her journey with GMC.

And, oh yes, WAY TO GO SURVIVORS!
