AARP Smart Driver Course
Classroom defensive driving course for motorists over age 50. Participants get two, 10 minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch (snacks and lunch not provided).

Cooking Light
Get tips for fast, light, easy and tasty summer meals. There will be two live demonstrations, so come prepared to sample some delicious dishes.

Caregivers Support Group
Being a family caregiver can be rewarding but it can also be very challenging. Receive help and support at this free class. This class meets the 3rd Friday of each month.

Freshstart Smoking Cessation Class
Create a personal plan for quitting while in a supportive group environment.  All of the methods and activities contain the most effective elements for success.  Includes resources for nicotine replacement therapy. Registration is mandatory.

Family Caregiver Essentials
Equip yourself to balance your load of responsibilities, while being a family caregiver. This classes discusses A Caregiver’s Bill of Rights, preparing for disasters, challenges of mental illness and caregiver resources.

Colorectal Cancer Screening
Colorectal cancer is one of the most detectable and, if found early, most treatable forms of cancer. Regular screenings for colorectal cancer should begin at age 50. Screening options include colorectal screening kits, which can be completed at home and detects the blood in the stool; and screening colonoscopies, where physicians can look for and remove growths in the colon. 

To request a FREE colorectal screening kit to be mailed to your home, or for a physician referral for an advanced screening, call 678-312-5000, and select option 1.

PTH Tai Chi
An ancient Chinese form of gentle exercises and movements that improves balance, flexibility, strength and stamina.

Mondays, July 11 – August 29, 2 - 3 p.m.

PTH Strength Building
Low-impact, strength-training activities designed to increase overall muscle strength, tone and stamina. Exercises can be done from a chair or from a standing position. 

Wednesdays, June 22 – August 243 – 4 p.m.

PTH Yoga
A program of gentle stretching and breathing exercises helps to improve balance, joint health and relax the nervous system.

Circuit Training
Alternates strength-training and low-impact cardiovascular exercises, to give you two workouts in one.

Yoga
Gentle stretching and breathing exercises designed to improve balance, strengthen joints and relax the nervous system.

Tuesdays, June 21 – August 23, 6 – 7 p.m.
Fee: $125 for 10-class series

Fit Body Boot Camp
A variety of cardiovascular and strength-building exercises designed to burn maximum calories in the shortest amount of time.  Includes a customizable nutrition plan.

Mondays, July 11 – August 29, 6 – 7 p.m.

Fee: $100 for 8-class series
